If you are purchasing by credit card, you can use options 1 and 2 below. If you are purchasing by cash, check, money order, invoice, or First Virtual, please follow the instructions in option 2 below.
Option 1: Purchasing via the Web (with a credit card)
You can purchase on-line by going to <http://www.felttip.com/register/> and following the instructions there. On-line registrations are processed through a secure web server at Kagi. You will receive your license code via an email reply.
Option 2: Purchasing using the "Purchase Sound Studio" application (for other payment methods)
Below are step-by-step instructions on how to use the "Purchase Sound Studio" application included in the Felt Tip Sound Studio package to purchase Sound Studio in order to receive a license code for it. If you are missing the Purchase application, please download the complete package at <http://www.felttip.com/products/soundstudio/>.
1. Launch the "Purchase Sound Studio" application ("Purchase" for short).
2. Fill out the purchasing info. If you need more info on any of the fields, turn on balloon help and point the mouse at the field you want info on. The "Register To" field is the name that Sound Studio will be licensed to, so you will need to use the same exact spelling when you enter your license code into Sound Studio. A valid email address or postal address is required for you to receive the license code. Put a quantity of "1" next to the "Single User" under Sound Studio to purchase one copy of Sound Studio.
3. How do you want to send this info to Kagi?
a. Email. In the "Purchase" application, click on the "Copy..." button. Then paste into a new email message in your favorite email client application, and send it to:
<sales@kagi.com>
Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days, but usually you will get a reply within 24 hours. You will receive an email acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet email address you will receive an email acknowledgement.
b. Postal Mail. In the "Purchase" application, click on the "Print..." button. Send the printout to Kagi at:

c. Fax. In the "Purchase" application, click on the "Print..." button. You can then fax the printout to +1 (510) 652 6589. If you can fax directly from your computer, you can also use the "Print..." button to do that -- consult your fax software manual for details.
4. Your license code will be sent from Kagi. Look for the code near the bottom of the email message from Kagi, if you provided an email address. If you didn't provide an email address but did ask for a "postcard receipt," you will receive the license code by post.
Entering Your License Code into Sound Studio
Under the Register menu, select "Enter License Code" to enter your license code and personalize your copy of Sound Studio.
License Details
A single-user license is $35 and covers the use of Sound Studio for the person named in the "Register to" field of the registration form. A site license costs $300 and covers all locations for your organization within a radius of 160 km (100 mi.) from your site. A world-wide license costs $1500 and covers all locations for your organization in the entire world.
Licenses only cover the use of Sound Studio, and does not cover support for the product — however, I will be happy to answer any questions you have about Sound Studio if I'm not too busy. Licenses also cover upgrades in the 1.x version numbers. I may charge a small upgrade fee for going from 1.x to 2.0, but I haven't decided on it yet.
